This is always the question when you are buying a teddy bear. First you have to decide what it is for? Do you want it to comfort you or a loved one? Do you want cuddly and soft? First there is the fur that you want it made from. If it is to comfort someone , it has to be soft and cuddly. This will be made of a soft plush faux fur in a soft or medium pile fur. The bear also needs to be stuffed in a manner that will be soft so that it can be hugged and soft to the touch. These soft and cuddly bears can also be made of a soft fabric and can be washed if necessary.
If it is just for show it can be made in a variety of fabrics. These can be a plush faux fur, mohair or even a fabric. These bears are usually stuffed in a more solid manner so they will stand the test of time.
After the selection of the type of teddy bear that you need, there is what kind of eyes, nose and any other embellishments that might be on the teddy bear.
